About TRIPLE 'A' FLYING

“Triple “A” Flying, established originally in 1983 as Auxili Air Aviation, was renamed in 1994 and has continued it's reputation as one of the UK’s leading Professional Pilot Training Schools. This has been achieved by consistently maintaining the highest of training standards and at the same time by also having one of the highest first time full pass rates for Skill Tests for the CPL(A) and IR(A) in the UK.  The School uses modern well equipped aircraft, two Beech 76 Duchess, Piper Arrow and a Cessna 172, and a FNPT 1 Simulator configured as a Beech Duchess. (Click on the BUTTONS below for further details).

In recent years we have established a wider base of commercial flight training capabilities, such that we can now offer all aspects of JAA Modular Flight Training, from having no previous flying experience, (ab initio), right through to “Frozen”  ATPL(A).

The Flight House is a converted coach house standing in the superb grounds of Kirmington Manor, located immediately adjacent to the Airport boundary. This location offers the best of both worlds, a tranquil and pleasant setting for an ideal learning environment but convenient for the Airport, a minute away by car.

Since 1987 the School has operated out of Humberside International Airport, ideally located because of its good weather record and close proximity to a CAA Examination Centre.  The Airport also offers a full radar service, night and all weather facilities, including ILS and NDB approaches with DME. Although the surrounding airspace is relatively uncongested  there is still sufficient density of traffic to fully test awareness abilities. Also it means that training slots are readily available at short notice and there are very few amendments or delays to flight training sorties thereby minimising costs.
