PRE-COURSE PREPARATION
AS
REFERRED TO IN THE “WHY US” SECTION OF THIS WEBSITE, IT IS ESSENTIAL
THAT A DETAILED KNOWLEDGE AS TO THE REQUIREMENTS, DISCIPLINES AND
STANDARDS OF JAA MODULAR TRAINING IS ACQUIRED PRIOR TO COMMENCING ANY
FLIGHT TRAINING, EVEN BEFORE UNDERTAKING THE PPL(A) IF POSSIBLE. THIS
SHOULD ENSURE THAT ALL TRAINING IS COMPLETED IN MINIMAL HOURS AND
ON BUDGET -
PLEASE CONTACT US FOR FURTHER INFORMATION.
MILITARY PILOTS
Military
Personnel– (Qualified Service Pilot-QSP) – Triple “A” Flying is
now part of the Enhanced Learning Credits Scheme, (Registration No:
1835). Any parties attending the School who are registered under the
Scheme will be able to reclaim a substantial part of their training
expenses without having to pay out in the first instance.
We
have an established track record teaching military personnel from all
the Services and are therefore attuned to their particular requirements
and are able to carry out training efficiently and within tight time
constraints. To this end we can offer dedicated one to one instruction,
seven days per week if necessary, through to course(s) completion. To
date virtually all military pilots attending Tri[ple “A” have
achieved a full first time Test pass
We
would be pleased to discuss and advise on any aspect of your training
requirement and/or answer any questions, without obligation.
SCHOOL AIRCRAFT
Our
fleet of two Beech 76 Duchess multi engine aircraft are well modernised and
we have a “no delay” maintenance arrangement whereby downtime is
minimal and is as good as having our own “in house” maintenance and
we also operate a “no defects” policy. Although we are not located
at a CAA Test Centre we are only a 25 minute flight away from Leeds
which on the day of actual Test affords an ideal “warm up” flight
which can certainly contribute to Test success. Our location at
Humberside Airport, with its all weather facilities, including ILS, NDB
and Radar, permits easy access to approach procedures in uncrowded
airspace enabling efficient and cost effective flight training, up to
five approaches per hour, compared to only about three or so at a busy
airport, such as Leeds.
STUDENT PROBLEMS
We
have also developed the expertise to directly and successfully assist
students who, for one reason or another, particularly at the IR level,
have experienced significant difficulties in their training at other
schools. Even if you would
just like to talk to someone with experience in these matters please do
not hesitate to
contact us in confidence and with no obligation.
FOREIGN
LICENSE AND RATING CONVERSIONS
We are also very experienced in dealing with
foreign licence conversions to JAA Licences and Ratings, which
invariably means substantial exemptions on the normal
JAA Course minimum hours. The details are as follows:
For an ICAO CPL(A)
holder requiring a JAA Modular CPL(A) Course then only sufficient
training as necessary to meet Skill Test standards is required. Actual
hours required will be dependent on student aptitude and the degree of
familiarity with flying in the UK.
For
an ICAO IR(A) holder with a Multi Rating requiring a JAA IR(A) will necessitate
undertaking a 15 hour Course, (comprising 5 hours simulator and
10 hours flying - all multi engine in practice). There is a
CAA mandatory requirement to undertake a F170A Pre-Test Test, conducted
in-house and which lasts about 2 hours, however, this can be included
within the Course minimum hours.
INSTRUMENT RATING RENEWALS
We can also provide full facilities and retraining for Instrument Rating
Renewals, utilising the services of our own in-house Instrument Rating
Examiner (IRE).
TRAINING PACKAGE
As an alternative to doing any trainig abroad, we are now able to offer all the training in the UK, from zero flying experience (Ab initio) through to“Frozen” ATPL. including arranging the ATPL ground school and MCC course. We have arrangements with some of the PPL(A) Flying Schools located on Humberside Airport, who through our auspices can provide a full time or part-time PPL(A) flying course with one to one personalised tuition with professional training standards in mind from the outset. Also if required a pre - CPL(A) prepreparation flight course, of 10 or 20 hours as required, can also be undertaken in our well equipped Cessna 172.
